ABOUT Evermore

I'm Gina. I live in Purley in south London with my two teenagers and two cats.  I have worked as a therapist for almost twenty years and added professional celebrancy to my business in 2025, when I trained with the International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC). 

Although I am still quite new to the profession I am very passionate about it and see it as a real privilege to do this work. I have skills in supporting people at difficult times, I have a passion for writing and I am a confident public speaker. I have great planning skills and attention to detail and I always take pride in doing my best. 

In my spare time I love running, going to concerts, cold water swimming and reading. 

After working as a therapist with adults and children for many years I decided I wanted to add something new to my repertoire rather than change my career completely. I have always been interested in becoming a celebrant and in 2025 I decided to just go for it. 

I booked myself onto a five day intensive residential training course in the North Yorkshire Dales with ICPC. Now, this was not for the faint-hearted! Over the five days I learnt so much from experienced Celebrants Mike Warren, Euan Graham and the Director of ICPC, Stuart Morris. I made great connections with the other students on the course also.  And befriended a gorgeous dog called Skye. 

Evermore Ceremonies was born in that training week. My vision was to use the skills I have developed throughout my career to provide my clients with a deeply personal, bespoke and caring service. 

I have learnt new skills such as tying handfasting ribbons, building this website and basic graphic design rather than outsourcing it to someone else. I feel very proud of what I have achieved with Evermore so far and I can not wait to see where it takes me. 

I am based in Purley, which is between Croydon and the M25 at junctions 6 & 7.  My ideal clients are located within my local communities of Croydon, Sutton, Bromley, Tandridge, Redhill, Reigate and south London. 

I will travel further than this so if you are not in those areas please do still reach out to me to discuss my availability. As a rule of thumb I work in areas that are 30 minutes travel time, give or take. 

I work with local independent Funeral Directors in my area as well as the larger corporate chains. 

I am familiar with the local venues for funerals, weddings and other ceremonies, but I am always keen to visit new venues and enjoy working at new locations.
